    I got an even more in-depth perception of Mike's character in this chapter...the feel of what he is really like...a seemingly spoiled, selfish social climber. I've said it before, but I don't know how John could put up with him. It sounds like he knew what Mike was like before (and Phyllis too) so I can't imagine him taking them on as crew again. He's really a softee for letting them get away with their slip-shod ways, but maybe he will get tired of it as time goes on.
    I can't imagine that he will put up with their path of destruction of his belongings forever.
    I'm beginning to worry about that hurricane. Something tells me that's going to bring some trouble to them.
