I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter. It's easy to see that John is captivated with Erika, and it seems that she returns the interest. One can sense the electricity growing. I'm wondering why Mike seemed not to like her though. That was good of him to graciously cook and clean up and be social in spite of his disapproval or dislike or whatever it was.
I'm worried about the hurricane warnings. If they get hit, I'm sure it will be a tense chapter.
